ALLIES' AIMS IN TURKEY.

     The  Press  Bureau  states  that   the
Anglo-French  Governments  jointly  de-
clare   their  aim  is  to  completely  free
the peoples oppressed by the Turks, and
assist  to  establish  indigenous  govern-
ment  administration   by   the   peoples
themselves in  Syria  and  Mesopotamia,
whom they are fighting to liberate, and
also to assure justice, encourage econo-
mic  development  and  education,  and
end exploitation by the Turks.
